Rev. Lois Mueller

Lois.jpg

Rev. Lois is an experienced spiritual leader, with over 20 years of experience facilitating retreats, workshops, and small group gatherings in churches and community organizations.

Rev. Lois received an MSW from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in Aging that led to a season as a geriatric social worker. In midlife she attended Pacific School of Religion and was ordained in the United Church of Christ, a progressive Protestant denomination.  For over a decade, she served as the pastor of Plymouth Jazz & Justice UCC in Oakland -- renewing and revitalizing an historic community.

Now retired, Rev. Lois is returning to her passion of calling elders to their identity as Blessers. She's available to lead retreats, workshops and small group gatherings on The Blessing Path and other aspects of the spiritual journey of aging. She is also trained in leading The Soul of Aging Circles of Trust (R) through the Center for Courage and Renewal.

Rev. Lois: About Us
Rev. Lois: Testimonials

To participate in a workshop on the Path of Blessing with the Rev. Lois Mueller is to come away with a renewed sense of meaning and purpose.  I felt like every moment of my day and my life, even with my career behind me, was now open to a new sense of vocation, one based more on being than doing.   Understanding my central vocation as being a blesser is radically shifting how I orient myself to the world and helping me find my place in it.  I feel like Lois has given me a treasure that keeps opening more each day.
